Night aerobatics
Saw a video of this, planes spewing pyro from the wingtips. Never seen it live. Do you guys do this?
Re: Night aerobatics
I don't have it on my card, but night acro is fun
I don't talk about it much, because I really don't want yet another registered letter from Enforcement alleging that I have contravened CAR 602.01

Re: Night aerobatics
Here is a couple videos I took at Dawson Creek Airshow this year.
Team Rocket, (Ken Fowler and Eric Hansen-from Rocky Mountain House and Cold Lake)
Manfred Radius-from Toronto (I think)

Re: Night aerobatics
Not personally but I did run into a guy that would offer night upset recovery in a Zlin 242L. Included full spin training at night.... over the desert in North Las Vegas no less ... so not a lot of ground references!!
Re: Night aerobatics
So you think aerobatic flying is challenging? No, lets do it in formation. And why not at night, to keep it interesting? Hey, I got an idea: why not strap some explosives to our aircrft and blind ouerselves. Who needs night vision? The Rockets guys have quite a show and crowd pleaser.

Re: Night aerobatics
Nice videos. I saw Manfred in June (in the daylight) at Borden.
Am wondering about the mechanics of creating the sparks. How is it done?
