#5 Post by passion4travel » Sat Nov 05, 2005 9:53 am

can you tell me (us) which ones are directed more towards flight attendants, customer service reps, check in's, ground crew...

Alot of the sites are specific to pilots.

thanks.

are there any resources geared towards the non-flying part of the industry? Like dispatch, flight co-ordinators, etc?

http://www.workopolis.com seems to have a fair amount of ground positions posted rather regularly(professional and ramp type, not that you can't be both). It is a lot better than monster.ca

Here are a couple of websites I found that have information about Canadian companies. Looks like some entries haven't been updated anytime lately. Maybe if you have any up-to-date info, take a second to update the entry that you are familiar with and help someone out.

http://www.airlinepilotcentral.info/air ... adian.html

http://www.bestaviation.net/jobs/canada_all_airline.asp

And, for sh*ts and giggles, I found an interview profile for Air Canada when they were hiring in 2000. Interesting to see how much has changed.

Free resources, such has:

- Free AIR COM WEATHER MANUAL download
- Free Sample exam
- Links to Airlines Dispatch federation
- Live Canadian ATC
- Live Flight Tracking
- ICAO Airport code

And much more. Got to: http://www.freewebs.com/instruction/index.htm
Just browse the ground school, free sample exam, and flight planning pages.

Cheers

For those interested in working in exotic places, here are some of the companies we hire. Their web sites will shown openings, if any:

Here is a link to a PPRuNe site on the subject of UN flying:
