I have a great idea.

Post by square »

The past ten years in aviation technology has seen some great feats, from the 1000 passenger jet to the curved WAAS GPS standalone approach to that 17 year old kid who got his PPL today. And this is what's next.. with over 10 years of development.. I unveil to you,

THE CONTINUOUSLY INTO WIND RUNWAY!

Strategically placed bearings underneath the runway will allow a continually swivelling runway that will eliminate dangerous and challenging crosswind landings forever. Wind-powered weathervanes at the threshold of the runway will keep the runway aligned directly with the wind. Performance figures will be maximized. And it's really cool look..

And from the flight deck.. an exciting day..

More simple would be the circular runway.

Of course, many float drivers haven't had to deal with cross-winds for years...
