No worries, this is actually a more technical relationship than anything else. The relationship with Georgian was more towards a business side, the Seneca one was geared more towards the pilot (aero sci) side. The Seneca ERAU relationship seems rather useless to me, a ERAU low-time pilot grad in Canada will only get a broomstick with fewer splinters on it if he's lucky. You don't need a 100,000$ degree if all you want to do is drive airplanes.

I'm not sure how the Georgian program is doing lately, but I have known a few different people who went through it, went down to ERAU for their degree and are into some really decent aviation management jobs. Just some FYI in there.

Hopefully this is a great opportunity out at BCIT. It sounds good from what I hear.

I also know some Georgian / ERAU grads who are working in fast food joints.

I gurantee you that either they are pilots, or they are loafers. If you can shell out all of that money and time on education and not get yourself a job at least IN aviation at the end, then there are some serious issues there. But Bob, tell them to drop me a line, maybe I can help them out (the non-pilot ones).

The ones i'm talking about, most of them anyway, are non-pilots. Georgian College Aviation Management diploma with ERAU Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, with limited work experience (co-op terms totalling 1 yr from the Georgian experience). At the end, they found themselves applying to work for the GTAA at the pass control office.

If they spent anytime at ERAU, they would have had access to some of the best internship opportunities available; regardless of their citizenship. You can't really help those that don't want to be helped.

I don't believe the these classes have actually been presented in a formal curriculum yet. I'd recommend you give BCIT a call for more information.
