Has anyone ever used some of the DVD Instrument Training Software that are on the Market?
Examples are:
ASA Virtual Test Prep DVD - Instrument Pilot
Jeppesen GFD Instrument/Commercial DVD Course
King School - Instrument Rating Kit

To answer your question, no.
If you are looking for training stuff though, try this its free - http://www.visi.com/~mim/nav/ If you have MS Flight Sim, its also good for seeing how the instruments 'look' and procedures. Don't look to it for 'real' or 'feel', just the instrument 'picture'.

Re: DVD Instrument Training Software
I "obtained" a copy of Sporty's IFR DVD course online. Obviously geared towards US IFR training, but still lots of good stuff in there.
I liked it for the times I was feeling too lazy or tired to actually study and just lay on the couch and get spoon fed some info. Worked perfect for when baby was requiring both hands and I could watch/listen to it in the background.
I would NOT recommend it as a sole study-source and I suspect if I had paid for the product I would be kicking myself.
