they want an it guy that work on there reservation system, maintainit etc all at the price of a junior f/o thats the carrot. if your smart demand what an it consultant makes 70k +yr
then ask for a daily rate for the f/o slot. that way you can afford to pay for real milk and kd maybe even a steak.
They just do not want to pay properly for an it and are hoping some green as grass newbie with an it degree happens along in good ole fort smith

What a joke, I am working right now with some IT consultants with Accenture on a supply chain project. The guys are making $70-90k (5-7 years experience). Out of school they were making $45-50k minimum. No self respecting IT technician is going to work slave wages to be a pilot. Sorry but the whores remain only in aviation everyone else works to make a living.
