I don't see anyone crying here....do you?

What I said I meant it in a more idealistic way, but I realize "idealism" does not go hand in hand with "airlines"

I do have one objection with the picture, from artistic perspective...engine's should have been painted in that baby blue as well....only Georgian's 1900s can sport the slick deep blue/green engine nacelles

It's not you Mig,

I am just kinf of tired of this B.S. from the jazz guys that are spending hours and hours on Avcanada hating ACPA and AC and the first thing you will see is the same guys leaving for AC as soon as they get a chance....

same old... same old...

hate is not good for health.... be healthy...

With the amount of oil that a Dash 8 relocates from inside the engine to outside the engine and all over the cowls, I wouldn't paint them a baby blue either!

Actually the P&W 150A's are pretty clean, the only stains I've seen on the Q400 engine cowls have been a rusty-red color at the Start/Gen exhaust when the generator shaft bearings start to go.

Mind you, these engines are very new...so we'll have to re-visit this in 10 years

Apparently, they've been loaded into the schedule - YYZ-YQB starting June 1, YYZ-YQT starting July 1. By the end of July, all YYZ-YQB flights are to be operated by the Q400s.

Checked the website and they're showing, and showing 'Operated by Jazz'.

These flights are operated by Jazz! They are not the q400s being operated by Sky Regional.

Interesting, SkyRegional starts operating in March, yet are there any flights uploaded into the Schedule out of YTZ? All flights out of YYZ using the Q400, to the best of my knowledge are operated by Jazz, as previously stated, starting with YQB, YQT in July and YFC in Sept.

ACPA still has not negotiated an agreement allowing this flying to be done. The "let" expired in February. There must be an amendment to the CBA to allow it and there has not been anything presented to the union as of today. March 7th start up is extremely unlikely. AC continues to lose money on this. Painted planes, training completed, routes secured and it is not generating $1.

In all honesty I don't think for one second that there is a reason that AC wants the Jazz Q's out east. We start operations in 21/2 months outta YYZ with them. The way the YTZ/sky fieasco is turning out, I would not be 1 bit surprised if we have them all in YYZ as the back up plan to start the YTZ op till sky is up.
