Not if you're a retired AC pilot...bcflyer wrote:Same here.. Hopefully they can get it straightened out. Its a great resource.

Re: AC forum
Anyone still having problems? Has taken a really long time to load up, then most of the time I seem to be getting a general error page. After some fooling around, I finally get there(kind of like a blind gynecologist). I guess we have had so many forum shut down's and start ups, the administrators are running out of servers.
Re: AC forum
Still down this morning.
There were several error messages the past 10 days as the number of users accessing the forum is crashing the servers. When the forum was set up, it was done on a shoestring budget. AvCanada had the same issue around 5 years ago. With an upgraded server hopefully the issues will be rectified. Perhaps the upgrade is occurring as we speak.
Lots of information and issues being addressed. It is a vital communication tool.

You need to be an AC pilot and register. But it has been down for some time now.....

Re: AC forum
I wonder if The Three Stooges might be behind this. Some sort of conspiracy perhaps?

Re: AC forum
Do not believe for a moment that the MEC was happy shutting down our forum. I DO believe that they were very concerned about liability which would risk the dues you and I pay to ACPA.
Reality is so much less interesting than a conspiracy....

Re: AC forum
The "Air Canada Pilots Private Forum" seems to be OK as of Monday morning. Not much to see right now since no one had posted since Saturday.
Re: AC forum
Still down for me. Took me to a webhosting page. Middle of an upgrade perhaps?

There is a new address now with a new server. Seems to have fixed the problems.
