Re: AIRSPRINT
This was posted not too long ago (spring 2010 maybe) the entire pay scale for capt. and f/o on the xls and -12 were posted. $27,000 seems to ring a bell for starting salary f/o on the-12. wrote:The Jets i think Captain starts at 60K but moves up quick (gotta pay a bond someway I guess)

Year 10 Captain... it seems they don't reward loyalty very well either...

Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do.

Re: AIRSPRINT
That's a good question and also a hard one to answer. The most recent group of upgrades occured with an average of 3 years employment with AirSprint. In the past it happened as soon as 3 months for some. My best guess is that for someone who joined us today, 3 years is probably pretty accurate for time to upgrade to the Citation. It really depends on how much growth we experience, and the level of attrition.COMETer wrote:How long until you can upgrade to the JET?????

I would hope to see Airsprint will reflect wages per Ornge standard once the base opens in YHM.

Re: AIRSPRINT
if you wanna fly medevac on a PC12 for the rest of your life to reserves up north, go to ornge. if you wanna fly a jet to places like Florida and California, go to airsprint...and also make more in the left seat than ornge.
how is this even a debate? for you complete tards that have nothing better to do, nobody comes to airsprint to fly the pilatus for the rest of their life.....if you want that, ornge is all for you.
just another canuck, nobody at airsprint SHOULD ever get to year 10 on the pilatus, it's just a pay scale....you're dumb. you do know they fly jets right? and upgrade people??

Re: AIRSPRINT
You don't sound too intelligent there yourself, chip. I hope when my company uses AirSprint in the future that they don't have you sitting upfront flying the machine. Pilots wonder why their career is not considered a profession? Obviously no educational requirements or standards to follow.abercrombie wrote:if you wanna fly medevac on a PC12 for the rest of your life to reserves up north, go to ornge. if you wanna fly a jet to places like Florida and California, go to airsprint...and also make more in the left seat than ornge.

Re: AIRSPRINT
I flew for a PC-12 operator 10 years ago and year 1 left seat was $45K with a 5K raise every year... we aren't supposed to be going backwards!
Re: AIRSPRINT
whats the pay scale for the jet? is there any chance of going direct to the jet if you come with 4000 hrs+

The jet pay scale was posted fairly recently. Something like 60, 70, 80, 85, 87500, 90, 92500, 95, 97500, 100.
I think most of the first officers have more experience than you right now however, so I wouldn't count on direct entry jet capt.
They stopped hiring direct entry captains from king airs, twin otters etc a few years ago because the Pilatus drivers were making the transition much easier.
