Has anyone been invited/attended one of these seminars? What do they offer?

how to fill out CHRT forms, so you too can fly till you die. Of course you'll be doing it for about a quarter of what the AC guys will be doing it for

I seriously doubt any guys will want to stay on past 65 here as an F/O. The pension would not be much less than the F/O pay, plus you'd have to work!

Under the new contract, I can now afford to retire between 55-58, even without saving on my own (which of course I am doing anyway). It's much more than my father ever made with his pension, and he worked his tail off for almost 40 years to get it.

I could stay until I was 65, but who wants to spend their entire retirement old?

My plan is to retire as early as possible, and then get a real job (i.e. driving the hotel shuttle at the Valhalla in YQT). Id make a lot in tips and probably get really good discounts on the rooms. I'd probably have to work at the front desk though to prove myself for a year or two, before they train me on the van. Totally worth it though, can't wait till I retire!
