Canadian Falcon Jet Thread . . .

Charles Lindbergh first spotted the MystÉre Falcon 20(meaning 'mystery') Jet at the 1963 Paris Air Show, and wired his boss - Pan Am's Juan Trippe - stating 'We have our plane'!!!, the rest is history.

Pan Am ordered 40 aircraft, with options on 120 more!!, and promptly had the aircraft renamed 'The Fan Jet Falcon'. Pan Am took delivery of N801F on June 3/63 and showed their new demonstrator Falcon at the Reading Business Aviation Show (forerunner of the NBAA) the next day, selling their first Falcon that day - N747W to FMC Corp of NY.

We took that picture between Peterborough and Westport. There are several more, they'll be posted on our website soon.

Trips to Europe went well, thanks for asking. We got a good routing over Greenland on the way back with no clouds over the entire southern portion. Made for some great scenery!
