De-icing incident in St Louis

Post by joco »

CNN is reporting the following "Authorities were also investigating an incident that occurred at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on Tuesday when the wing of an Airbus jet clipped the horizontal bar near the tail section of another jet while it was being de-iced, according to airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge."

What is that "horizontal bar"???

I googled FAA incident reporting, but I could not find their CADORS equivalent.
Thanks,
joco

I guess will take the "bar" for "stab"... :)
The reporter should be invited on the flight deck for a visit, then we should sit back and enjoy the report.

G-pilot: I found the same page on FAA site, nothing else. Is that the US "CADORS"?
Thanks.
