I know the captain of that particular flight and would trust him with any flight. Losing control could happen to any of us.

An interesting tid-bit about Perimeter that I heard from one of their managers a couple of years ago .... they fly something like 33,000 sectors in a year, into some pretty crummy places, so it shouldn't be any big news that even if they get their error rate down to .001% its still a significant number.

Not knowing the Metro 2 in regards to fuel load, can it fly Winnipeg to God's Lake Narrows, then God's Lake Narrows all the way to Sanikiluaq and hold an alternate with IFR reserve fuel? What is full fuel on the 2?

Also, why would Manitoba Ambulance approved pilots and nurses be doing Nunavut Government medevac coverage? Are the Perimeter crews approved to do Nunavut region as well?

Why were they doing the medevac? Since the company with the Nunavut medevac contract is owned by the same people as Perimeter.

Manitoba companies have been doing Nunavut medevacs on a back up basis for Keewatin for as long as I can remember. Used to do a couple every month.

I'm pretty sure Gods lake Narrows has Fuel Perimeter has Fuel tanks everywhere, they also base a crew in YGO from what I recall.

I will let the nerds figure out the fuel burns from YGO to ....... wait a sec are you really trying to insinuate something here about fuel burn and alternates for this flight.

Whip it out and put it on the table or STFU explain your post.

It's actually 648 US gallons for a Metro II (SA-226TC) and 577 US gallons for a long body Merlin (SA-226AT)

As well, Perimeter does have fuel in YGO.
