Edo 4580 Question
Edo 4580 Question
How many pump out holes are there on an Edo 4580?
Six or seven if memory serves but this coffee-time debate requires a definative answer.
I'm sure somebody can get off the bar stool at the 'Beaver for a minute and find the answer for me.
Thanks,

Re: Edo 4580 Question
Pretty sure it is five. The 4930's only have six and I think they have one more than the 4580's. Our only set of 4580's is in the hangar right now so I can't go count them to verify.

Re: Edo 4580 Question
5 it is says a gent in Nova Scotia who knows.
Next question, are the three middle pump-out wells inboard or outboard on the float? The front and rear are in the middle.

Re: Edo 4580 Question
INBOARD!
If memory serves me right, cause one is tucked away, kinda behind on of the float struts, not sure if thats the 4580s or the 4930s.

Re: Edo 4580 Question
I think we've got this all ironed out...
4580's have 5 compartments. 4930's have 6. The extension of the 4580 to make a 4930 happens in the step compartment, and they divided it with a bulkhead. Hence the extra compartment and pump-out on the 4930.
Thanks everybody for your replies.
