Russia and the west has spent so much time in their country, doing stuff, yet we never hear a peep from an actual citizen? Does this seem strange to you, we only hear scripted stuff ?
I for one would like to hear their side of it. Nothing to be scared of. Are we in afghanistan for the afghani people, or for don cherry'?
Dash, I find myself agreeing with you again...although I am certain of my feelings at the conclusion, I would be very interested in hearing from citizens actually living the war without fear of reprisals from the local militias.
"Liberated Afghan?" Hmmm.
I'll be back there Monday for a while, and I can assure you we are doing nothing to help the average Afghan - by perpetuating an un-winnable war, we are in fact doing much to harm them, and lower their standards of living while pursuing other agendas. Lets not get carried away with ideas that have no truth just because you hear it on the news or it comes from the Gov't, I can assure you it's just not the case.
Nobody wishes the soldiers harm, but the context in which they operate is inexcusable for us a nation.
Glad everyone is back in the Cooler, have a great time, see ya'll next month when I get back.
