avionics shop in/near Ottawa

I've heard that the current shop in Ottawa may not be around much longer and that leaves us in a pickle for getting ELT and transponder certs. Aside from the big player, are there any other shops around or anyone know of anyone coming in to fill the void?

I just booked Dan to come and do a 24 month pitot-static & transponder/encoder check in March. Apart from him, I don't know of another AMO locally that does avionics.

First Air at CYOW will do piece work - eg calibrate & recertify instruments. But they don't do outside aircraft checks after, well, you know.

I've *heard* that Dan is doing some teaching in North Bay and may end up there perhaps permanently bringing up his family and closing up shop in Ottawa.
