Ouch, just checking the details on the Gulfstream accident - seems it was a Gulfstream Aerospace crew of 3, the aircraft was owned by -and about to be delivered to Paul Allen of Microsoft fame. Aircraft was a brand new GV-SP N535GA (Gulfstream registration) but already registered to Vulcan Aircraft of Seattle. (Paul Allen).
He just lost his EC-145 on Jan 31/11 in Argentina - it departed his Yacht 'Octopussy' and struck a cable - made an emergency landing in the Ocean and remained afloat via it's emergency flotation devices.
Unfortunately the brains surgeons hired to tow the helicopter to shore flipped it over, completely submerging the helicopter.

Paul Allen has a huge fleet - from Twin Otter to B757's - including Global Express - and lots and lots of warbirds!!! Also four MD-900 choppers and a S-76. Oh and his two yachts . . .
