You can also see that the environmental lapse rate is quite shallow, indicating stable air. Since very little vertical air movement was expected along with little to no wind..... I'd expect this is about as smooth and "calm" as you'd see in those parts.

Yup, been a wild wind week for sure. Been flying FL350 for eastbounds and FL200 westbound all week. Then on Saturday, ferried a Twotter back here from CYYC at 16.5 and had 190+ for a g/s. In a TWOTTER!! AWESOME flight, stunning scenery.
