During my inquiry concerning the former US factories Thomas Brothers and Thomas/Morse, I found a connection with Canada.

G-CAEH Registered on 21.11.1923 Colin Spencer `Jack`Caldwell, Lacombe, Alberta
based Lac-a-la-Turtue, Quebec ,employer, Laurenticle Air Service Ltd.
1924 On to Dayton Air Race

On 18.01.1926 to Major R. Dodds, Hamilton, Ontario
based, Camp Borden
permission to use, Stewart Park
27.07.26 p/o David A. Harding forced landing near Beechville, Ontario
May 1928 Air engineer Frank Grove of Hamilton Air Club started repair.

1928 to Mike Sinclair, Brantford
at Belleville, Ontario completing repair
CF/AMM registered on 01.05.30 to S.M. Sinclair, Paris Ontario

December 1928 sold to C.Patch, Brome, PQ

Who can help me with,

United States Army Air Service serial number 38925

Certificate of Registration No. 233 issued on the 21st of November 1923

Certificate of Registration No. 844 on the 1st of May, 1930

The Certificate of Registration lapsed in 1931

Nothing on Canadian civil aircraft registry after this.

Bob Dodds and his Thomas Morse Scout were a very well known sight in the Hamilton / Niagara area .
He flew the T. M. Scout out of St Catherines Airport ( the original , not where it is now).
There are numerous pics of it around. I have seen many published in CAHS Magazines.

Frank Grove was an Air Engineer at the Hamilton Aero Club ( not Air Club) back in the early 30's
I don't think he was still there by the middle 30's

Stewart Air Park was the original Airport in Hamilton . It was located were the Stelco Slag heaps now sit.
Originally the Stewart Farm, Jack Elliott rented the field and operated Elliott Air Service there until 1928 when the City of Hamilton established the Hamilton Municipal Airport at Reid Ave and the Red Hill Creek.
The airport was the home to the Hamilton Aero Club (also established in 1928 ), Cub Aircraft Canada and
the 119th Bomber Sqn.

Both thanks for the information.
Concerning the pictures, which I until now found are only of the Jack Caldwell period.
About the CASH articles, how can I get scans of them, because its very difficult for me to get them. I am not living in Canada.

The squadron started out as No. 19 (B) Squadron (no 'the' or 'th') on the 15th of May 1935 and re-numbered as No. 119 (B) Squadron on the 15th of November 1937. It was further re-designated as No. 119 (BR) Squadron on the 31st of October 1939. * BR - Bomber Reconnaissance.

The squadron operated the de Havilland 60 Moth, de Havilland 82A Tiger Moth and Fleet Fawn at Hamilton from May 1937 until the 4th of January 1940.

All is correct.
I have some nice pics that Dad took of the Bomber Sqn's aircraft in my collection.
Also some pics of some of the students that were going thru the PPO Program at that time.
