AKA despite the fact that printed one you paid good money for is NFG, we still want you to buy it and suck your money out, rather than giving you it free online and allowing you to print it at your leisure.
I got to say the CAP's are the absolute worst - I curse them every time i use them -- I maintained personal Jepps to avoid them in the past -- now I just go with the flow and whine

It's actually a liability issue. Not everyone has access to a decent printer so if someone piles in and a crappy homemade print job is found in the wreck then you just know it's going straight to court.
I call BS on the liability issue. What if your CFS is full of grease and can't read it? In the end, it the pilot's responsability to make sure he has adequate publications for the flight.

Me think it's a money grab.
A messy CFS won't run you into terrain. I think the CAPs are a bit more critical to keeping my ass alive than my CFS.
How is it a money grab? Jeppesen doesn't give anything away either.
Sadly, I lost these, because I didn't include them in my backup files.... I'm looking for a PDF for the Cap 1 in particular if anyone has it....
cheers
