Sadly, her parents did in fact pay for the video...and probably the rest of her " career" as well.

It's like those guys who are convinced they can write, even though every publisher they submit to turns them down, so they pay a vanity-press to print their spew anyways.

I suspect though she is making more money now as a notorious failure than she could have ever hoped to get in return for her actual "talent".
