This is going to sound strange, but I actually had/have more respect for Rene Levesque than I did/do for Trudeau. As Hedley has pointed out, while people like my father were lying about their ages to join the army/navy/airforce during WW2; Trudeau was hiding out in a monastery. A fact I've long known as my father was quick to point it out to me one day while we were watching a Rememberance Day ceremony on tv. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess he never voted for Trudeau either. Levesque at least had the balls to be on the front lines of the war as a correspondent; he was with the first US unit to reach Dachau, and was again a war correspondent in Korea for the CBC. Watching that complete hypocrite Trudeau lay a wreath on November 11 never failed to get my blood boiling.
