After months of waiting for the loan to manufacture its new D-Jet, Diamond Aircraft president Peter Maurer announced he’s suspending the program and laying off 213 employees — more than half the staff at the plant.
What does fugly have to do with anything? I am sure you would rather be flying a djet than some other starter POS. It really addressed the "economical" question regarding jets into the future. Such a pitty to see this scrapped. What will become of the Djet test planes? Avro Arrow them ?

Alright take it east princess, I'm entitled to my own opinion. I'd still take King Air 200 over that toy....btw if you saw my ride, you would know economical...not really on my mind.
