I am going to give you a bit of advice here. You can take it for what its worth or not.
You want to become a pilot and thats great. As much as you read us guys and girls bitch and moan about it we still enjoy it.
You wonder why you get razed by other posters it is because of your attitude. You are 14 years old and at a very impressionable age. You think you have the world by the balls, but your hands aren't big enough. Hey we were all 14 at one time and we thought the same way. You will find in the next few years that a lot of things will come across your plate. Do I drink? Do I do drugs? Do I choose this instead of that? You will be influenced by peer pressure, friends and what is sociably acceptable.
This is part of life and the path you choose will determine where and how you become part of society. You will find that your attitude is more important then experience. I have seen 5000 hour pilots who couldn't find the ground with a vector. Its because as much as experience is important its your attitude that decides if you learned anything from it.
So don't feel you have to speak to be noticed. Its best sometimes to sit back and watch. You will learn a lot more by observing then speaking, but by all means if you don't know something ask! Don't take it to heart if some of us give you a bad time(me included) you will get the answer you are looking for.
So with all that said I hope to see you up there someday and good luck!

It is important to ask questions from others that have been there. It is just as important to do so with tact and respect. Don't try to impress people with what you have done when you really havent done anything. I'm sure there are guys on this forum with maps older than you are.
Cheers, The Driver.

C-150 pilot he not asking you to shut your mouth and just read. You have had a lot of valid points on this Forum what he is trying to say is sit back once in a while read through the forum and before you reply just try and think to yourself and say "Man that person must have had some great experiances to think like that" Just remember we are all human we all do not think the same that is what makes us us. Get as many point of views as possible then make your decision on what youy want to write. And as was posted before don't take tooo much to heart there are a lot of people in this world who thrive on making people angry don't give them the pleasure. Just remember even if someone has 1 less hour then you they still may have experianced more then you in aviation. I guess what I am trying to say is keep an open mind and if yo do this you will go places.
Good Luck and I hope to see you in the sky.
