Hey S- disturber....

You usually won't get banned by telling it like it is, and of course being able to back it up with proof.

But hey, everyone has to have some goal in life. :D :D

People relax!

Here's the scoop. We are a landscape supply company we sell Block, pavers, dirt, gravel, Natural stone, decorative rock ect. We don't sell anything that lives and we certainly don't sell knoms.(I can't even spell them) It was not long ago that I was an aspiring pilot like many of you however I sold the dream and got into business.

I need people for the upcoming season. I like to hang out with pilots and people who enjoy aviation so I thought why not offer an OK paying job to some pilots that may not be earning enough money or working at a job they hate.

The perk is this. My company owns a PA30 Turbo (why? I like the sound of two engines) I fly a fair bit on business so I will happily take along staff with me so that they can log some time. I am NOT charging for this. It's a perk. If you add 5 hours or so a month at twin rental rates you can begin to understand the value of the perk.

My bird is N registered and you will need to call the Spokane FSDO to get a FAA certificate based on your Canadian licence. I belive this is under $25

Sorry if I mislead anyone

i guess so many people have been screwed in the past. the old saying "once bitten, twice shy" has to apply. It's nice to see someone at least trying to help some low time guys out.

BTW why is this illiciting such a paranoid response? Maybe that should give you pause.
Actually the word he was looking for is "ellicting" but i'm sure you get the picture.

Hate to beat a dead horse well... no I don't. Actually I rather like beating dead horses. It's a great stress reliever but before I get too off track the horse that I'm refering to is "ellicting" The actual correct word is:

"eliciting"

It means:

To bring or draw out (something latent); educe.
To arrive at (a truth, for example) by logic.
To call forth, draw out, or provoke (a reaction, for example).

I think we should all stick to flying planes!!!

Hey people, in this country we all know how hard it is to get started, especially when trying to get multi or even moreso MPIC time. This sounds like not a bad gig for a low timer. I've been extremely lucky in getting to where I'm at, but if I was starting at the beginning again, I'd be all over this.

Also, those of you using 'your' instead of 'you're', you're driving me crazy.

Cheers

If the English language was meant to be spoken and written correctly it would make sense. I see no reason for the majority of us to spend effort accreting erudition on an insensate language.
