Any word on what the likely base is going to be for April 18th GS? I heard last 2 GS's were all for YYC. If that is the case the 3rd time, how easy is it to trade to another base?

Any idea on probability of CRJ705 in Toronto? Or is this more likely to go to the more senior pilots like the incoming Q400s.

Hi Homer

First you do not get the CRJ705 you get the RJ which is the 100/200/705. And I can tell you now you won't get the RJ in Toronto. I have been on the RJ for 3 years now in YYZ and I have about 10 people below me. I think even the guy on the very bottom of the list has almost 3 years in as well.

I believe there were new hire spots for the DH8 and the Q400 in YYZ. Not too sure where the latest positions are being filled, YYC seems to be the hotspot right now.

Expect at least half YYC DH8 for sure. Could be some YYC RJ mixed in.

Lots of guys sent to YYC/YVR in the last 3 g/s trying to get back to YYZ and YUL. Pretty sure they should have priority over new hires.

I first got a call to let me know i was on the may 9th GS and then received the letter a few weeks after.

I guess we'll see eachother in YYZ Jason...
