Places to stop across northern Ontario

I'm heading west for a job, already have one, not looking on the way, and I'm looking for places to stay on my drive west. Specifically Sault - Wawa area. I know there is a hostel near Thunder Bay but that's a little far to drive in one day. Like most pilots I'm looking for CHEAP...
