Jack Layton’s Federal Erection issue!!!

Post by JakeYYZ »

What police say happened on Jan. 9, 1996, was recorded in the former cop's notebook, which was reviewed and photocopied by the Toronto Sun.
The former Asian crime unit officer, who requested anonymity, details a prior police raid on the "premise currently ID as a bawdy house" looking for underage Asian hookers and a subsequent follow-up visit to the two-storey brick storefront on Jan. 9.
At first the policemen didn't realize they were interviewing one of the best-known Toronto politicians who was married to Chow, also a Metro councillor and now the incumbent NDP MP for Trinity-Spadina.
The officer's notebook indicates he asked the suspected john: "Did you receive any sexual services?"
He replied: "No sir, I was just getting a shiatsu."
The cop: "Why did you have all your clothes off?"
The suspected john: No answer.
The cop: "Are you aware that there were sex acts being done here?"
The suspected john: "No sir."
The woman, who was from mainland China, denied masturbating the suspected john but when the question was repeated became nervous and replied, "I don't know I only come to work today," the cop's notes show.
His notes also claim he saw the "female dump wet Kleenex into garbage."

Really Jake, would you pay for a full-service massage from Jack? Neither would he.

Anyway, I'm not voting NDP, but this is horseshit. There was an investigation, and no charges were ever laid. He was never given a chance to rebut the charges in court. But of course, hang him anyway.

There are two reasons this might deserve to be in the news.

1) It might showcase why the NDP were not eagre to support the CPC's human trafficing legislation.
2) It is interesting to concider what the reaction would be if it was Harper, not Layton caught with his pants neatly folded by the powder and oil...

Perhaps it was deliberatly "leaked" to get his face in the news.

I don't see anyone raising the issue of Layton and his wife using his mother in laws name to obtain subsidized housing when they had a combined income of over $100,000/year.

This is just too good to be true ..... "Lay'em Layton" must surely be a candidate for the "Sanctimoniuous Jerk Of The Year Award."

So ... to be fair, the man who will now be called "Jerkin' Jack" (aka Taliban Jack) says he was in that "Common Bawdy House" for a theraputic massage, and expressed shock and dismay when informed that sex acts for money had been performed on that location in the past, and some gang members videotaped the patrons for the nefarious purposes of extortion. The investigating officer's notes describe a young Asian woman was found to be holding "a saturated tissue" at the time the Vice Squad entered the dank, second floor room where the iconic flag-carrier of NDP values was found to be sprawled naked on a bed. In the absence of DNA evidence as in the Monica Lewinski matter, we must give all benefit of the doubt to Mr. Laidaton and accept his statement as truthful.

He states the massage was theraputic in nature, but the "saturated tissue" reference raises questions. The assertion is further clouded by the young woman having been arrested and "scooped up" in an anti-prostitution sweep two weeks earlier in "Operation Cobra" ... a tile perhaps referencing "trouser snakes."

There can be only one answer which would "jibe" with '"Squirtin' Jack's" assertion that nobody had been playing "Nick-nack, paddy-whack" with his privates. The liquid which was captured in the tissue must have been released during a clinical digital manipulation massage of the New Demoncrat Party Leader's prostate. That way, there would be no feelings of arousal involved ... and therefore, everything is OK. In that case, NDP supporters have nothing to be ashamed of.

I saw one post where some bumper-stickers were proposed. My favourite .... "Jack came - career went."

This is just too good ... as Hedley would have said .... "you just can't make this stuff up folks!"

Got another for ya Foggy... "He saw, he conquered, he came."

Remember that guy who was defence minister for Mulroney? The opposition parties called down the wrath of God on his head for having a beer in a titty factory in Germany and he quit. Turn about is fair play. :D

One of the NDP policies is to bring back a federal minimum wage. That would have serious effects on the aviation industry. Probably end up pushing a lot of flight schools and smaller operators out of business.

^ While sad for the proprietors of those businesses, that might not be such a bad thing, as it might serve to reduce the supply of 200 hour wonders walking around....

I disagree - I'd like to see a lot of smaller air operators and flight schools go out of business. Operating in a federally regulated industry and so devoid of minimum wage legislation has always been a convenient way of screwing the pilot workforce. Once these disreputable companies are cleared out of the way, other companies will come in to take their place.

After all, the cost of a pilot is still only a small part of the cost of operating an aircraft for a commercial enterprise.

Still doesn't win my vote for the NDP though.

Dude, thats really not saying much!!!! The equivalent of calling Mike tyson a sweetheart next to say.. willie pickton.

I dont usually discuss my political standpoint as I have zero interest arguing semantics with stubbron individuals.. but I have to say.. yes I am a right winger and thusly I would never vote for the NDP, regardless of the candidate, and knowing the type of character that layton is simply grounds that even more so. He is simply untrustworthy (mind you name me a politician who isnt) and I dont think he would mark a good represntative for Canada to the rest of the world. Now with something like this from a lefty!??! come on man!! That was a BAD LIFE CHOICE!!!

Iggy is in a league of his own. The libs will lose a lot of votes solely based on him being their choice of representative. That guys would give a hobbit the creeps!!

I kinda feel sorry for Iggy. The man sounds downright desperate, and those red sneakers??? Christ, get real. Then there's the "Rise up! Rise up!" The last time the Libs had a slogan that lame was "The land is strong!" Foggy'll remember that one. Then there's his statement that the PMship has to be earned. This from a party leader who was anointed by the back-room boys without even the benefit of a convention. Irony is not this man's long suit.

I loved the Liberal's attack ad on Layton once he passed them in the polls. "He's a career politician! He's been at this for 17 years!".

Apparently experience is a bad thing. Lets hire guys off the street to fly for Air Canada. Who needs career pilots with 10k+ hours.

When the election first kicked off I actually felt sorry for Layton. He had been recovering from cancer and had some sort of hip operation.

Then during the leaders debate he actually did well....at least against Iggy in my opinion and I am not an NDP supporter. Iggy seemed to self destruct on the campaign trail. Even Stephan Dione led a better campaign as he was good for a laugh every time he appeared in public.

Where Taliban Jack really blew it was his official response to the hooker story. Saying things like it was a "community clinic" and that the police officer "kindly warned me that this establishment was suspected of illicit goings on" looked really stupid. Especially when you consider he was naked when this was happening.

If it wasn't for clowns like him and Dione elections would be very boring.

I still like Layton. When I talked to him a few years ago before he was leader, he seemed like a decent guy- not some bullshitter politician. I'm sure he hasn't changed much. I'd trust him to run the country in a fiscally responsible, intelligent way. I don't think the power would go to his head like it has Harper's. As far as Iggy goes, I think he's paying too much heed to his "handlers" and I think that would continue with him as PM- to the country's detriment. He'd flip-flop and start subsidizing big business so fast, it would make your head spin. That's just my gut instinct.

My $0.02.

I wouldn't trust anybody until they proved it. Roy Romanow proved it as an NDP Premier who pulled Saskatchewan back from the brink. On the other side of the coin our current economics trained Conservative Prime Minister brought in a record high deficit immediately after promising a balanced budget proving that he cannot be trusted.

At this juncture Jack Layton would have to try really really hard to be worse than Harper.

Let's just stop & think about what the NDP stand for, shall we?
Principles and policies

The NDP evolved from a merger of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) and the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF). The CCF grew from populist, agrarian and democratic socialist roots into a modern social-democratic party. Although the CCF was part of the Christian left and the Social Gospel movement,[3] the NDP is secular and pluralistic. It has broadened to include concerns of the New Left, and advocates issues such as gay rights, international peace, and environmental stewardship.

New Democrats today advocate, among other things:
Gender equality and equal rights for LGBT residents
Improving environmental protection through government regulations
National water safety standards
Increasing corporate taxes
Reducing poverty in Canada
Aggressive human rights protection
Expanding funding for public transportation
Expanding public health care, including dental and prescription drug coverage
Social assistance policies that reflects citizens' needs and assist their re-entry to the work force
Abolishing the unelected Senate of Canada and ensuring more proportional representation[6]
Workers' rights including raising the minimum wage to pace the cost of living
Aboriginal peoples' treaty, land, and constitutional rights
A foreign policy that emphasizes diplomacy, peacekeeping, and humanitarian aid instead of offensive military action
Renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
One wing is focused on ending the Canadian War on Drugs and legalizing recreational drugs
In addition to that there has been talk about buying back former crown corps, reducing the work week to 32 hours, and a number of other very disturbing suggestions. All of this sounds VERY expensive to me, and I can just imagine the corporate exodus now! Even small businesses would pack up & leave &/or quite. As I see it, a strong economy allows us to afford all those nice social programs that we all enjoy. Jobs first; then benefits. In that order.

Think people! We may not be happy with the not-very-conservative Conservatives, but Jack isn't the answer!

Wait...which of those platforms is a bad idea? Would any of them cost more than buying fighter jets we don't need for 29 billion dollars? Why on earth would businesses depart Canada?
