A380 First Flight:Wednesday

Post by Lowjack »

It is being reported on multiple news agencies that Airbus plans the first flight of the A380 for this Wednesday, weather permiting.

http://edition.cnn.com/2005/BUSINESS/04 ... index.html

Should be quite a site to see this bird take to the air for the first time, and maybe some good news for Airbus after the order loss to Boeing for AC.

Yeah, it will certainly be something, to see such a monster of an airplane take off into the skies.

Word over at a.net is that the flight is confirmed for tomorrow at 10:30am. So that puts it at 2:30am for us in Western Canada. I would gather that most news networks will probably carry it seeing as there won't be much else on at that time.

Pretty funny joke bm. Typical of a know nothing jackass from Toronto. Why don't you and c-150 pilot put your heads together and see if you can up with an adult response to a posted topic. Feel free to get your mommy to help.

Cheers, wp.

Bizjet :

just thought I'd take a few seconds to answer this for you..

" oh u r one to talk u have a cat driving a car for your avatar. "

That is a play on words that someone else thouhgt would be neat.

The truth is I do a lot of flying on Cats because it pays good coin.

And just for your information it takes quite a bit more flying skill to fly a Cat well that to fly a jet well.

Well bizjet, maybe you could do a little attitude check also.

You seem to make a lot of comments that do not seem to be based on experience.

i work at pearson, i deal with air georgian, jetsgo (did) skyservice, air canada. I talk with pilots every single day. as for the maintenance i worked in a corporate jet hangar for 6 months. You've probably never step foot in a business jet, nor worked with one. so i would say your experience is very limited. I had people wh oai work with that have been pilots for decades read some of the comments you wrote and they laughed at it. So don't assume, aviation is alot bigger than some cessnas and floats.
