Post by snow-monkey »

Can anyone help me with questions that I might be asked on a technical interview for a metro FO position. No previous metro experience.

I have found that from the past 3 interviews they are only trying to get a gauge of your IFR knowledge.
-missed app procedures
-cold weather correction
-take-off and departure procedures
-not assesed airports
-contact approaches
-balanced field length defiinition

You get the picture

RVOP/LVOP or hot button things as well as Approach Ban.

Aircraft specific I would not worry about, they will teach you that information.

I agree. The HR people that contacted you will probably know if you do or don't have experience on type. Cap Gen and specific information concerning the CARS number (604,702,703,704,705) that the company falls under would be what I would stick to.

Cheers
