Firefighting

Post by rigpiggy »

In more ways than one, what if they used a helicopter and Bambi Bucket, to drench the burning vehicles in YVR. From say 200' up or so, would this be high enough to put out the fires without killing/injuring anybody. Probably dampen the ardour of the idiots too.

Any thoughts?

Maybe a riot situation is dangerous enough without coordinating water drops from the air. The falling water has enough power to strip branches off a tree, so probably not the best method in a metropolis environment. Not to mention the high cost of heli water drops when the fire trucks are available.

But I'm not a helicopter pilot, riot police, or firefighter, so what do I know... :smt102

A nice high drop with septic tank contents should do the trick.
Then bring in the fire department to hose down the street after the crowds leave.

Kind of the right idea Driving Rain .... but the fire dept should turn the hoses on 'em while there is still crap in the streets, so the scumbags are rolled through the crap on their way to the storm drains.
