Private License in 10 days! OR LESS!

Nice.

My favorite part is near the bottom... the "60 day money back guarantee"........ wait- aren't you supposed to have a PPL in 10 days??? You should be a Class 1 by 60. Too bad they left out the mandatory 6 month processing/delivery time for new endorsements from TC's offices.

That's the yanks for you. They actually release the database of questions for their exams and you can buy the books with them. All you have to do is memorize the hundreds of questions and you're set.

I have the KING DVD set and am amazed at how much less they covered in it then we did in ground school.

Well the FAA is in the process of changing the answer banks to some of the tests. However, at least in the states, you ALSO have to pass a oral and flight test where rote memorization of questions WILL NOT help you.

Though the amount of ground seems to be less in the US vs Canada, unlike Canada, virtually all CPLs have IFR ratings regardless of wanting to go into the airlines or the bush and PPLs are taught how to fly at night as well as above a cloud layer.

Ok, just to be pedantic, I will argue this point. If you consider 10 days to be 10 discrete entities, then fewer would be correct. If, however, you consider 10 days to be a continuous entity time frame (ie, if 9.5 and 10.25 days would be allowable times as well), then less is correct.

Less than 10 hours or minutes or seconds would be proper, so why not days too?

Cheers,

AOW

PS: Fewer than 9 people have been able to complete their PPLs in 10 days or less!

You cannot possibly learn to be a competent and above-all SAFE pilot in 10 days, or 10 weeks...even 10 months might be a stretch. You are exposed to so little and you cannot possibly retain everything that would be thrown at you from a PPL course in a span of 10 days. Even if you could, it is useless without experience.

Sounds like someone wasn't smart enough to get his license in
10 days and is a little jealous.....
