Fast Forward Through Commercials

Post by The Raven »

I noticed on my last flight that as of July 1st you can fast forward through the commercials on the AVOD. Seems to be well received on FlyerTalk.

I remember being able to do that on some flights in the past. I used to think it was only doable in J-Class seats, but I've had the "priviledge" of fast-forwarding through commercials while in the back too. I just wish you could fast-forward through the unwanted songs on the Sirius music channels.

Have they fixed the volume yet so that it isn't on full when you plug in? Glad to know you can fast forward through the commercials, it was unnerving to sit there, tied to a chair and be fed a Telus commercial. They do that stuff in Guantanamo Bay.

According to FlyerTalk, the volume has been fixed as well. During my flight I watched 3 sitcoms and all worked well.

Watch a preview first. You can adjust the volume there right away and then get on with watching what you want.
