It sure is!

While I happen to have been an Air Cadet myself, and initially joined the CIC as air element; my career in the CIC had me involved in both Sea & Army cadets as well.

All three programs are fantastic. While Air is near & dear to my, I always tell young people interested in cadets to go check out all three (or as many as you have locally) before deciding. I'd rather have someone join one of the other elements, rather than drop out of the cadet program altogether. One of the three programs is sure to have something a teenager will find of interest.

Sorry for the thread drift.

Cadet movement made me who I am today... I credit just about every good thing in my life to the morals, experience and friends I made there.

60 Confederation Sqd, 1994-2000.

Now IFR ATC, and a Commercial Licensed pilot.

My admiration of the cadet program is just as strong today.

Power '97 Shearwater.

Capt SF34.

Loved cadets, taught them for a summer too! You think it's hard on the cadets? Try teaching 4 of them at once in 6.5 weeks.
