Hey, andy_mtl , I actually saw that same plane a few months ago. It has a real "head turner" paint job.

Here's a face only a mother could love... This was sitting in Goose Bay last summer..... apparently it was on its way back to Europe and the Ferry Pilot changed his mind and left it there..... of course its British

I'll shift this away from focussing on ugly, to unattractive. The nose on this series of airplane, to me, is unattractive. Throw in the Challenger series as well:

Composites allow you to make an airplane in nearly any shape you can imagine. Who imagined this... thing?

I don't know what it is about single-engine turboprops that can make them be so ugly.....

Though the Fairy Gannet has already been posted, it has not been appreciated how ugly it is...

The trainer version is even uglier... (note the 'periscope' for the instructor pilot).

Then the Breguet Alize...

The Douglas Skyshark....

The Westland Wyvern...

Of course, we couldn't have the Russians feeling left out, so they came up with Tu-91

All of those make a Turbo Swine look like Spitfire in comparison...

All pretty ugly, but none as much as the Ekranoplan, aka "Caspian Sea Monster"
