Might be not as soon as hoped. Stuck in Resolute Bay. Battery master relais is about to break. Couldn't start the engine in Eureka (hand propped it....), turns out the master relais can't deliver enough power. Waiting for replacement part. ETA: wednesday.

But the flight over the pole was cooooool ^^

This is too cool. I just found this and have been reading through his previous posts.

First of all congrats on making it digits.

Secondly, its good to see there are still people with a sense of adventure out there. Not many people in the world have done what you just did in the manner that you chose.

Again congrats, and fly safe on your way back, the trips not over yet.

Congrats!!!

You still have to get home :smt040

I was wondering why you didn't go further north? But i see by your Spot device, you simply ran out of map. :)

It was impossible to go further north, I would just have gone south again ;)

congrats, you should have flown around it a few times and done several days in several minutes. I'm kind of jealous I've only been 82N

I think I did, but the gps started acting funny, so I have no proof of it unfortunately.

No, didn't see any russians, perhaps they were there with a submarine ? I didn't get fired upon though, so that's good i guess ;)

I have not been paying attention to your travels. If you are still in
Repulse talk to the guys in the CARS station and get a membership in the Arctic Adventers club. It is free and they give you a nice frameable certificate to put up when you get home

Safely in Cambridge Bay it seems - his SPOT is still on and transmitting - the plane is still sitting on the ramp.

Check mail! Probably this weekend in Muskoka :) Tomorrow taking a day off in churchill. Then Moosonee or Pickle Lake. After that Muskoka.

Looks like Digits is on the move again by the SPOT. 55.00751 x 91.91479 eight or 10 minutes ago. Looks like he might be (speculation only) heading for Pickle. Any other guesses? Might want to have a listen/watch for him if you're up that way.

I'm in Pickle Lake indeed. What's so bad up here ? The room is a bit pricey, but soo far everything else is fine *proceed with caution*

Tomorrow Muskoka!

Sorry, you were there to visit, not to throw freight and fly.
Have a look at the pictures at the Pickle Lake Hotel.
When you get to Muskoka, go to the Camp Norway display, go have a look at the DC3 and relax.
