Best practice for keeping turbine aircraft shiny?
I've worked for a couple of different operators who each clean their aircraft a bit differently. But there is always a lot of elbow grease involved. Although I don't expect that there is a way to keep turbine aircraft clean without work, the easier the better. Usually we use a mild degreaser and a brush (floatplanes) and then a couple times during (usually during 100 hr inspections) we give them a more thorough cleaning, providing there is time of course.
An operator I worked for previously would wax their aircraft once a month and then use a brush and cleaner every couple of days. This required more manpower than is available where I am now. And I'm not sure how much the waxing makes a difference in keeping the carbon from the jet exhaust from sticking. What have you found that works well in keeping turbine aircraft shiny?
Thanks

After you get it clean, whatever you do, DON'T start the engines!

And stay away from PT6 powered and single turbine aircraft.
There usually isn't too much problem keeping the plane clean when the exhaust goes out behind the aircraft.

Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?

ive found that good smooth paint and some precision clean in a squirt bottle and some paper towel keeps it pretty nice aswell as eliminating fingerprints

Biosol? I think that's what its called. The green soap. Stuff cleans anything, just don't let it dry on the paint.

Why you don't just do like most of PT-6 operator. You paint nacelles in black.....that's it no more problem......
