That is why the pilot makes you get off the shitter on approach.
If we can put oil in the engine while we're flying then we have absolutely no problem at all.

in the event that they did not run out of fuel, the pilot may have thought the plane was lower that it actually was when he flared and he stalled 25 feet too high. Of the trailing gear struts may have been low on fluid resulting in no cushion when the plane stalled a little too high. Or he might have waited too long to start his flare and when he pulled back suddenly he had an accelerated stall and dropped in.
How can you tell which one is the pilot when you walk into a bar?....Don't worry he will come up and tell you.
