Interesting to see Duane Hicks not in Dryden anymore, but in YELLOWKNIFE. Hopefully its a good fit.

Sounded like the apparel business is Mikey's not Buffalo Joes... no shit they need some management if Mikey is wondering why Joes pissed about him running his t-shirt business on Joe's dollar/logo and letting the courrier business go for a shit. Money's, Money and family is family. This will get interesting, but I bet family wins out. Who was in charge of sending oil without a mechanic and then sending two mechanics on the next flight? And yes, taxiing around in ice fog that they could see coming for an hour instead of getting the covers on and waiting for the sun to break through. Not sure on those PDM skills when you are taxiing around and not sure if you are on the runway or not. Yes, the plot thickens and I'm in for another season.

Wow after listening to Duane discribe his past and himself , and then listening to Joe discribe him Ive come to the conclusion that he must have a twin brother also named Duane . Cause the one I know doesn't fit those descriptions

Probably just the editing, but one wonders why Mikey didn't up and quit when Duane was dropped in to his old job? Might there be fisticuffs in the offing?

Tune in next week for the next exciting episode of 'As The Prop Spins'!

Mr Hicks (Jr) did an amazing job out of his offices in London and Dryden. He ran a fleet of C337`s that were in the air far more then in the hanger. Now he is faced with running alot of "hanger queens" in adverse Arctic conditions. It has already been pointed out above the lack of good management decisions (2 mechanics on a comm flight=$$ not needed to spend) I say he lasts a year, and family wins out in the end. Interesting start to the season!

Watching that show reminds me how easy I have it working on aircraft. Change a tire outside during a snow storm? FTS.

That far north there's nothing but IFR. Unless you want to be violated.

Sorry if I am over analyzing a TV show but I do like watching it. It makes my work seem normal by comparison. :D

They must be getting paid to advertise Surly's, because why else would anyone patronize a dump run by a baffoon? Oh yeah, I guess Mikey would feel right at home...

Looks like there should be a few episodes of Joe pulling out what is left of his hair dealing with TC and their notification of OC suspension.

Probably refering to last year when the Sked OC was pulled for not having a senior flight attendant position.
He had to use another carrier for a few of the sked flights.

I did a real tough tire change this summer; on the runway at Grand Forks on a sunny summer day. I actually managed to break a sweat! Then for the very tough one hour scenic flight home. 8)

Remember its TV with editing, audio and video. Take everything with a grain of salt.

I'm sure Joe is smart enough not to let them air anything where they broke any laws. He can taxi back in in 0-0.
