Sky Care Navajo Thread?

Post by Doc »

Okay, I was following this one. Can't say I saw anything on it that would get it pulled. Pretty classic example of what happens when your head is up your ass. Good lesson here. Guess we hurt their feelings? When you rotate and fail to maintain a positive rate of climb, bad things can happen. We've been a Hell of a lot less gracious with accidents in the past, what happened with this one.

Doc, the world is changing and we have to learn that the best position to take is act like an ostrich otherwise you may be taken to task for saying things that can result in legal action being taken against you.

This string of airplanes being flown into the ground or the trees apparently is not important enough to require examination of why they are happening.

Everything is O.K. as long as you don't ask to many questions.

Concentrate on your paper work and make sure your airplane is lit up like a Xmas tree at all times....and don't ask questions.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Thread has been returned. I'm thinking the people involved likely feel pretty bad about what happened, and I'm not sure that heaping public scorn on the crew adds value. What might add value would be discussing how best to avoid an incident like that in the future - let's try to SMS the hell out of it and see what we come up with.

This thread is locked, but the other one is still open.
