Re: KFC 172
A pilot and his student lived some frightening moments Sunday after the small plane they were in flipped upside down in Kelowna, B.C.
The Cessna 172 was taxiing at the north end of the Kelowna Airport runway when it was suddenly hit by a wave of exhaust from the jet engine of another plane.
Staff were checking the power of the engine and the turbulence created by the engine was so strong it caused the smaller plane to flip over.
Both planes involved in the incident are owned by Flightcraft.
“It is an unfortunate mishap and it is a huge relief no one was hurt in the incident,” said Grant Stevens of Kelowna Flightcraft.
The pilot and student are said to be shaken up but otherwise unharmed. The RCMP as well as Flightcraft are investigating.
It’s not clear whether the Transportation Safety Board will get involved as the plane was never airborne.

Looks like a little review of the AIM is in order:

No one got hurt, so I'm not sure why it's a big deal. Once when I
was being marshalled into position, I blew the windows out of a
building behind me
Nobody's perfect!

Being stupid around airplanes is a capital offence and nature is a hanging judge!

Yeah, right. If you believe that, you'd also believe that Rogers and Bell will become business partners too LOL5x5 wrote: OMGThe Leaf's are going to win the Cup this year!!
