Count yourself lucky. There have been people in the past who were given more definitive answers and then told otherwise afterwards. Nice sentiment by the OP, but in the end, there were a lot of people hosed by this place. Just sayin.

Nice words Doug and you are obviously intelligent and articulate. You've demonstrated regard and respect and although I don't know you, I salute you!

Its always so sad to read these types of posts and my heart and thoughts go out to all of you who are affected by this.

For what its worth I was in your position last year, laid off on December 15th to be exact! Trust me the timing really hurts. But on the positive note I did find work, it took a a little while and now I am off for another interview in Asia and I have a few others coming up which could really turn things around for me and my family.

So you never know whats around the next bend.

I stole a line from a friend and famous author .......... "I can't wait to see what good is going to come out of this", and I still use it.

I hope you all come out of this well, with better jobs and good fortunes waiting for you!

Merry Christmas and best of luck to you all!
