Hey, I tried this in the marketplace forum but didn't get very much feedback...

I'm in desperate need of a 1 bedroom apartment or a room in a house in YXL. I was offered a job on short notice and will be moving the first week of january. I've looked on the sioux bulletin, ckdr.net and every other site out there. If anyone knows of anybody renting a room please let me know. Not the best time of the year to be living on the streets haha.

I was in a similar spot oh 25 years ago I scored a winter spot at Tikenagan Cabins. Not a lot of renters this time of year.

Try the outfitters that service the public spring summer fall...............

When I moved up there I got a list of all the renters in the town from the chamber of commerce. I started from the top and called everyone until someone said they had something available. Easier then it sounds. I had a place rented that night.
