Check out

www.watchismo.com

Ordered from them a couple of times, lots of decent prices, good deals from time to time.

To round out this thread it needs a discusion on what size wings to put on the oforementioned leather jacket. Tacky plastic one's to complement the faux fur? Great big brass eagle one's clasping a company logo? Discrete smaller one's tactfully placed on the lapel?

I thought the Citizen JN5009 was a great pilot watch.

1. It doesn't LOOK like a "pilot" watch. It's actually legible and lightweight.
2. Analog / digital display for reading local / UTC time.
3. Alarms
4. Chronograph
5. Less than $300

For something with some Canadian flavor try the Marathon TSAR (Marathon is a Canadian company) or the MSAR. Has tritium tubes. Technically they're designed as "dive" watches but who's keeping score?

At my FTU someone told me once that one of the guys grabbed a clock off the wall for a night flight because he was watch and phone-less that night. :D

For the ultimate in practicality you could try the Suunto Core watch, big display, multiple time zones, legible, and an altimeter! But you won't "look" like a pilot.

Also the Casio AMW320 - inexpensive, analog / digital, good looks, or Timex Expedition, as previously mentioned.

If for some reason you have three thousand dollars lying around that you don't need for actual flying, you could look at the Omega Speedmaster X33.

Now that's being resourceful!

Doc have you been to their web site???

Not that the Navy Seals have to do anything special or out of the ordinary in the dark or be on time. Check navy seals colormark for the whole line up.

Let's keep this on topic, shall we? I toasted a bunch of posts that were reported. They were reported because posting pictures of women in bikinis, even if they are standing near airplanes, is NOT RELEVANT, and frankly it's offensive to the women who come here to discuss aviation. If you want to see pics like that, I suggest Google - this is not the place for it.

I decided to get the A2 from Us Wings. I ordered it last Tuesday and I got it today - from the US. I'm pleased with the jacket. I figured the B3 bomber jackets were to warm, maybe if I end up north haha. Watch wise, I'll still be looking. I don't need one soon.

Thanks for your help guys....and girls :)
