Be prepared to stay in the ho forever cause they take a long time to promote. I hope the ho is for La Ronge cause the other bases don't do a hole lot of flying, except maybe Lynn Lake.

Turbo prop, what do you mean no movement at Transwest. Latest news is they are in the market for a Saab 340 captain, and two Navajo drivers. All internally, maybe you should get your facts straight.

Good luck on the interview, pretty much the same as Westjets.

Didn't say they don't hire said they won't promote. If they can find someone with a ppc they'll hire them instead of promote someone from within who has the experience. Ask a few guys there that have more then enough time to move up but haven't. Why do you think those jobs are coming open, cause people are tired of the crap going on there.

Does it take a long time for someone to be promoted with transwest?
I'm a future pilot and I know that you start from the ground up, but is it worth it to take a job on the ramp with them this summer? How about the north? Do guys get promoted sooner up North? Am I like every other guy out there right now? Trying to find work in a plane.

Over qualified and under paid.........Should have been an AME.......?

What about floats???????

There is no set time to how long it takes to move up. Average about a year and a half on the ground, maybe less if up north. Getting the first job at Transwest is not to hard, but getting promoted from there seems to be the kicker.
