The importance of a good scan.
Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

That's pretty amazing. I probably spent a good 10 minutes looking at it.
I'm glad I'm not judgmental like all you smug, superficial idiots

It took a few shots of tequila, but eventually I was able to see the sailboat!

How do you make the spin stop rooming?
Flying airplanes is easy, you just need to PAY ATTENTION. Finding a good job on the other hand takes experience, practice, and some serious talent.

WOW. I found it to be strongly reminiscent of the Troxler effect!

That would be a great thing to show a student. Or any pilot, really. Good post!

Do any of you stare at one instrument without blinking for more than 5-10 seconds? If so, you should open your mouth and let a little drool spill out to complete the ensemble.
Re: The importance of a good scan.
I often stare at a single instrument.
I think whoever designed the EFIS setup needs a high-five.
An even higher-five to whomever designed "Highway In The Sky"
Put the vector in the boxes and there really isnt a need to scan.
Good find North.

I stare at my targeting pod image, hardly blinking, for a good 30 seconds before a bomb impacts.CL-Skadoo! wrote:Do any of you stare at one instrument without blinking for more than 5-10 seconds? If so, you should open your mouth and let a little drool spill out to complete the ensemble.
