Bat 21 hands down....first plane i've ever flown or wrenched on and still wrench on them to this day

Since no one has mentioned them...
Catch-22 has a lot of very interesting flying scenes, the largest collection of B-25s was assembled for some of the shots since the Second World War. Interesting and crazy book to read. While not strictly an aviation movie, A Bridge Too Far has some of the best shots of C-47s and again many of them were put together for the flying scenes, If I remember rightly it would be the last time a Horsa ever flew, even though it would be a replica they built for the movie. For helo buffs, there is the immortal assault scene in Apocalypse Now.
Suprisingly no one has mentioned The Final Countdown as one of their favorites...

I just saw the [sarcasm]BEST[/sarcasm] aviation movie EVER!!!!!!
Altitude is the name of the show, it's on HBO2 this weekend. You can make any drinking game you want out of it.
See an aviation inaccuracy like following a hold short instruction then positioning on the runway, Take a drink or;
A physical impossibility such as climbing hand over hand on a rope whilst dangling from a twin engine plane at cruise; take a drink, or;
When you wonder what monkey farm they got their technical advisor from....yeah, you're catching on.
I'm still trying to figure out what kinda plane it is...it almost looks like a Queen Air, but not quite.

I just about rented that one but it looked so weak that I passed. Sounds like the right choice.
I loved "Bat 21". "Flight of the Intruder" is awesome. I've got both versions of "Flight of the Phoenix". The older one is better. And "Dam Busters" is pretty good.
Of course there is "Commando" which has a few nice Goose scenes.
I saw an 80's kid's show called "Rescue" (maybe) where some kids took an old Bristol Freighter to rescue their father. I can be sure of the title but it was a bit weak.
