For the first few years, it was for the sheer pleasure and FUN. Now, like anything else in life its become a job. That said, I still get a rush when I push the throttles forward. That feeling will never leave.
I fly now to pay the bills and it beats working for a living.
Fly safe all, Cheers

To bore holes into the sky.
To relax.
To forget about what is pi**ing me off.
To see far.
To visit friends.
To go fishing.

Sounds to me like 'Unable Due Traffic' has it right!
For those of you who can't find that feeling anyomore... for who'm it's become "just a job"... Y'really oughtta give some thought to what makes
your job so much more than "just a job"! ... I'd recommend trying "just a job" for a while to remind yourself, but that would be really stupid.
Say hello to the sky for me will ya? Ya lucky buggers!

To give my Wife the lifestyle she is accustomed to. I have been fortunate to pursue my passion ,being aviation, as a career as well as in my leisure time. Aviation is very rewarding.

I agree with what Undue traffic said..plus I can't think of a better way to spend my time then defying gravity. Oh and being a young man I must mention that the girls really dig it when they find out Im a pilot

Because I looked up once when I was young and have never been able to pull my attention away.
I fly because I have to.....without it, there is something missing in my life. I've given up far too much for aviation to ever turn my back to it now.

You are full of shit, being a pilot is essentially being whatever the opposite of an aphrodisiac is to women.
Go sell crazy someplace else.

Ummm hate to break your heart, but you're more in gravity management most of the time. Gravity always wins in our atmosphere
