Any CMA drivers out there?

Post by The People's Pilot »

tried this thread in the 'job seekers' section, but obviously if you're working at CMA you wouldn't be looking there.

not looking to get ragged on but just wanted to get some advice from any of the CMA guys/gals (or anyone else in the know)...

do you know what the current wait time is for rampies/dispatchers/customer service agents to get in the right seat?

and on average how many of these people make it to the flight line in a given year?

thanks for your help.

I wouldn't worry about anyone ragging on you for asking a serious question. Of course youll get some smart ass remarks, but pay no attention.

As for your question, I thought they upped there mins to 500 hours for an FO... not sure if they still promote from the ramp, I hope still they do. Great company to get your foot in the door.

Cheers.

5 per year I'd guess. 500TT is the minimum for this position. Wait is 1-2 years approximately. Things could probably be changing if the rumours of AC hiring 600 pilots in the next year(s) comes true though.
