Pay by the pound makes perfect sense for airline tickets. The idea that extra fat is the same as extra baggage is ridiculous though. I guess it goes to show that the IQs at Princeton aren't any better than anywhere else. Bags don't walk themselves on to the airplane, now do they take space away from other passengers. Unless we're talking carry-on, which isn't charged or regulated by the airlines, much to the detriment of the average traveler.

Princeton students are the slim, sportsmen type. They come from rich families, who owe their living to the return on their shares. they do not act in the interests of the traveling public, but have the interest of the 1% at heart. Makes sense to me that they would come to that conclusion.
